WHO are we targeting?
We will aim for a more male audience with this stunt. We will cross-promote from Viasat History so will hope to bring an audience interested in the facts of World War 2 to Epic.
WHAT do we want to communicate?
These are great stories based in a real world torn apart by war and we want to stress the factual roots of these dramas. From occupied France to the cold seas of the Atlantic, characters struggle with their enemies, their allies and wit themselves. We also need to find a way to communicate that there is some documentary in this strand in a way that doesn’t kill the drama of the spot.
WHY are we doing it?
On the 1st September 1939 Hitler invaded Poland, sparking the outbreak of World War II. To commemorate the occasion’s 80th anniversary, Epic Drama will be airing a season of World War II content showcasing set amidst the conflict.
