WHO are we targeting?
Our lovers of car programming – gear heads who love everything about cars, from the minute details of their upholstery to watching junk boxes be turned into attractive automobiles that sell for big money. Some will already be aware that Friday is out turbo night, dedicated to car programming, and will validated that we are recognising this and adding some additional dressing to it. For others, who regularly watch our car programming sporadically throughout the week, this is a chance to reel them in with through the publicising and promotion that Friday nights is their night, with programming dedicated to them and what they love.
WHAT do we want to communicate?
We are having a Turbo Zone Takeover on the launch weekend so are requesting a separate carting for this promo with takeover proceeding Turbo Zone. Other than this the copy can remain the same. We do not require a separate bug/au3 or ident for this takeover.
Every Friday night, buckle up and enter the Turbo Zone, for a marathon of our favourite car hunters, flippers, restorers and fanatics. From the Aussie Outback, to the British Countryside and Sin City in the US of A – Las Vegas, all over the world, there are people who share your passion for cars, and make a pretty penny from it. Scouring junkyards, auctions and pounding the curbs to discover discarded gems and unearth unwanted old timers. Turning rust buckets and forgotten favourites into cars you would be proud to call your own, and wish you could afford. This is about the hunt, the discovery, the knowledge and passion, the bartering and negotiation then the skill and the craft of the restoration, the reveal and then then sell. We want to capture and convey all these elements that make these shows so great and so memorable. But of course we want the cars to take centre stage and should dominate this campaign.
WHY are we doing it?
To proclaim that we are the home of car content. We want our loyal viewers to be validated for choosing us, and we want the fair weather car fan to be assured of this. To refresh our Turbo Zone, stick some bells and whistles on it and make it feel like a special area for our viewers.
