Project brief:
HOOK
Discover new depts of evil – the reality of the horrors that were, and those that might have been, if the Nazis won the war.
WHO are we targeting?
Our core 25-54 audience. They enjoy WWII content and their fascination with Hitler and the Nazis knows no bounds.
WHAT do we want to communicate?
Terrors of the Third Reich, a season of shows examining the horrors of life under Hitler, the twisted minds of the Nazi hierarchy and painting a picture of what ghastly aberrations might have been unleashed onto mankind if the Nazis had achieved their goal of world domination; featuring the premiere of Hitler’s Jurassic Monsters on December 3rd.
Broadly cover the horrible and terrible aspects of life under the Third Reich: mass genocide, persecution of the Jews, deplorable experiments on the disabled, views on euthanasia, indoctrination of a people, etc.
Give prominence to the premiere title – Hitler and Goering’s fascination with hunting, Greek mythology, and their insane plans to turn the Bialowieza Forest into a hunger games-esque hunting ground, where young Arians would be sent to hunt a long-extinct, huge bull known as the Auroch, resurrected by chief SS scientist Lutz Hecht. Only the best and the bravest would thrive and survive and return with spoils, to become true Nazi warriors.
WHY are we doing it?
WWII related content is a tentpole of the channel, with content on Hitler and the Nazis being integral to this, and enduringly fascinating. These shows delve deep into the recesses of the twisted minds of megalomaniacs and by shining light on their disturbing designs (some tragically realised) further reinforce the heroism of the Allies victory over tyranny and terror.
