HOOK
A glimpse into the life of the biggest, fiercest, most protective and most endangered big cat species on our planet.
WHO are we targeting?
Big cat fans, which is a huge audience, wider than a hardcore Nature viewer who will particularly appreciate this series featuring a number of blue chip shows that offer up close and personal access into the world of the biggest cat species on the planet.
WHAT do we want to communicate?
Predators and protectors. Dangerous and endangered. Mothers and fathers dedicated to the survival of their cubs. Loners, solitary creatures, living in the shadows and members of large prides, existing within sophisticated societies with rules and order. Lions and leopards, tigers and jaguars. This is a showcase of the majestic cats that inhabit our world. From The Plains of Africa to Mountains in South America and Jungles in Asia. A season celebrating The Big Cat.
Perhaps there is a consideration to focus on the contrasting furs of the many big cats featured in this stunt: the orange and black stripes of the tiger, the black spots on yellow fur of the leopards and jaguars, the snowy white skins of the snow leopards, the golden coats and majestic manes of the kings of the jungle.
WHY are we doing it?
Big cats are among the most studied, loved and popular species in the whole animal kingdom. The Lion King and Tiger King are the most wildly successful works within he animated film and documentary genres respectively. The wider audience have a genuine interest in big cats, while our Nature audience will be particularly drawn to this stunt.
