Format: Promo
Platform: TV
Region: CEE, Nordics
Project brief:
WHO are we targeting?
Our wider demographic of 25-54 year olds who love wildlife programming; they will be drawn in by the spectacular visuals of vastly different landscapes across the globe and amazed by the up-close and personal presentation of wildlife and captivated by stories of survival from the largest mammal to the smallest insect.
WHAT do we want to communicate?
Every year, the changing of the seasons bring on amazing transformations across our planet. Spring brings new life, but it’s also a time of urgency; a race to wake up and establish yourself before everyone else. Summer is a time of long days and glorious abundance. But the living isn’t always easy when the temperatures rise. Autumn brings the world’s most spectacular transformations. It’s also the last chance to breed, to grow up, to stock up before the cold returns. And during winter - the most magical, dramatic season of all - animals find inventive ways to survive. This Christmas week, we invite our viewers to marvel at the story of a year on our planet, told through the four seasons, finishing on festive, snow covered, icy winter. The time of hibernation for some and migration for others.
WHY are we doing it?
This is the kind of programming that our audience loves. Beautifully photographed examinations of the wild on a global scale that captures Earth in all its glory, from smothered in snow to blistering under intense sunshine. It captures the animal kingdom and the vastly differing climate in its most primal and masterfully manages to tell collections of compelling, mini-narratives with incredible, up close footage.
