WHO are we targeting?

Our core audience of 25-54 yr old men and women. They might watch together and enjoy both the splendour of the costumes and the settings, the scandal and the ruthless political machinations.

WHAT do we want to communicate?

Louis is basking in victory after the war against William of Orange, but still hungry for expansion and what’s next for France. While he negotiates with Leopold for control of even more of Europe, he continues to levy taxes on his already poor countrymen, sowing the seeds of revolution.

Even as Louis consolidates his power, the danger to him increases

WHY are we doing it?
Versailles is one of the most prestigious and high-rating shows on Epic Drama. But viewing tailed off towards the second part of the last season. We want to revive interest and create excitement for the conclusion of the thrilling and decadent journey in this final season.

NOTES

This spot should be dramatic, thrilling, and sexy with an edge of darkness.

We are still tilting for a younger audience and music should reflect this.
